Flutes & piccolos
Student, intermediate, and professional instruments from the Japanese used market.
We source Japanese-made instruments—and quality woodwind and brass instruments that have circulated in Japan—for overseas trade partners. Each item is considered individually for maker, model, condition, and value, helping more instruments keep creating music for the next generation.
Japan-based sourcing · English communication · Export experience since 2020

Sourcing with confidence
For an overseas shop, a useful purchase is not defined by item price alone. You also need clear condition information, understandable costs, responsive communication, and documents that match the transaction. Our direct-trade approach brings those details together through one Japan-based seller.
Seller confidence
Online listings and ratings do not always provide enough information about ownership, authenticity, or the actual condition of a specialist instrument.
Your seller is clearly identified. STUDION LLC provides the available item information, issues the quotation and commercial invoice, and remains responsible for the sale through export.
Total purchase cost
Platform fees, payment charges, exchange-rate spreads, and freight can make the final purchase cost difficult to estimate.
You receive an itemised offer. The payment method and amount are confirmed before each order. Where available, Wise can also reduce bank-transfer and foreign-exchange friction.
Problem resolution
When several providers are involved, it may be unclear who should coordinate a procurement or shipment issue.
You have one English-speaking point of contact. For matters concerning our sale or shipment handling, STUDION LLC coordinates communication and the agreed next steps.
Future sourcing
When each purchase begins with a new listing, you may need to restate your requirements and evaluate the seller again.
We keep your sourcing brief on hand. Available stock and sourced-to-order candidates can be reviewed against the makers, models, condition range, quantities, and budget that suit your business.
Wise is an independent third-party payment service. Availability, exchange rates, and fees depend on the transaction; we confirm the payment method and amount before each order.

Why source in Japan
Japan's school and community band tradition brings many woodwind and brass instruments into use. Skilled assessment and local preparation help each instrument reach its next player in suitable condition.
How instruments find a second life
A clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, or horn may begin its working life in a school band. It is played through rehearsals, concerts, and competitions. Then a student graduates, changes instrument, or stops playing. The instrument may sit unused, be traded in, pass through a dealer or domestic auction, and eventually return to the Japanese used market.
Returning to the market does not make an instrument ready for its next player. Woodwind pads, corks, keywork, brass valves, slides, and alignment may all need assessment. Even a carefully used instrument requires an item-by-item decision about condition, repair cost, and resale potential. That is why we work with overseas businesses that can prepare and support instruments in their local market.
STUDION LLC handles sourcing, sale, Japan-side specialist coordination, and export. Your business retains the local customer relationship and provides the preparation and support each instrument needs in its destination market.
Participant figures describe people, not the number of instruments entering resale.

How we began
Our approach began in 2020 with a simple idea: a good instrument can keep creating value when reliable sourcing is connected to skilled local care.
In 2020, our founder began sourcing used instruments in Japan and exporting them to an overseas instrument repair specialist.
The repair specialist received, restored, and returned the instruments to use. That relationship showed us what supports successful cross-border trade: reliable sourcing in Japan, clear communication, and technical support in the destination market.
We continue sourcing and exporting used instruments from Japan while adapting to changes in freight, exchange rates, and destination-country import requirements. Clear offers and direct communication help both businesses decide whether an order is workable.
